Monster unveils the MVP Carbon - its first gaming headphones partnered with EA Sports

If Monster doesn't hit a right note in you, then maybe Beats by Dr. Dre would. Monster, the very company behind the infamous Beats music headphones, has recently announced its venture to manufacture gaming headphones and this came about in a partnership with one of the biggest games publisher EA Sports.

Named as the MVP Carbon, it isn't exactly the fanciest nor catchiest name of all besides the fact that well, it's an MVP. And with such a high prestige and a huge collaboration between two giants of their respective industries, this MVP sure looks comfy and presents a premium feel in it. With the EA Sports logo on its sides, it will come in both black and white and retails at $269.95.

Monster and its Beats headphones have already built a strong brand for themselves in the music industry, but with this venture it is important to note that gaming headphones, though they look pretty much similar, serves an entirely different purpose as they actually provide detailed layers of each and every action in-game. For some that exaggerates, that could make or break the game.

But that's another story, for another time.

As with EA Sports and its games' availability on almost all of the major platforms today, the MVP Carbon is fully-compatible with PCs, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and the Wii U. You can get your hands on them as soon as this February, but meanwhile, you may reserve yours at monstercable.com/headphones/eamvp.
